I visited Appledore Island this past August to see Celia Thaxter's garden. Even though it was the type of day where the fog never burned off I managed to capture a few worth while pictures. You can

This picture I never posted and I decided to turn it into a digital painting instead. I used Paint Shop Pro and an array of Topaz Software plug-ins: Adjust, Clean, Simplify, DeNoise to accomplish this effect.
